The unit we got was generous sized and updated with a double bed, blackout curtains. the location was good and fantastic, for example, a medieval cathedral was relatively close to the hotel. The hotel was a good home base for enjoying a safe area, close to Gran Via, the metro and the city centre as well as Plaza Mayor. Everything was good and the staff was helpful. Had a generous sized and fairly quiet room with a double bed and blackout curtains, for example, and I couldn't ask for more. The location was excellent and absolutely perfect for walking around a famed street.

The property was in the middle of the city. The staff were very-very nice and the wake up service and ironing were free of charge.

Our quad room (sleeps 4 adults) was large enough to accommodate all of us and our luggage. The hostal is minutes away from tons of restaurants, a Dia grocery store, and the Gran Via metro stop.

Our room had no way to circulate air other than leaving the windows wide open, which meant listening to loud dance music from the club downstairs at from morning to late night. While our room had a mini-fridge, the staff will not let you use the kitchen area to even boil water. Also, one staff member was particularly unhelpful, even rude, throughout our 3 night stay. From what I could tell by observing her with other guests, this is her personality and it is not suited to tourism.

it's based in the middle of the city and walking distance from an iconic street. the staff is very-very nice, an absolute asset to this the place.

Lovely little property with excellent and friendly staff. Convenient central location not too far from the city center. Free wake up calls and ironing services available are a nice touch.

sincerely, it was a such great stay on vacation. very central location of this lovely central hotel was a bonus. fast food restaurant anauco was located 5 minutes walk away. the restaurant was particularly good with good food and for every budget.

Big room and staff are nice and can speak some English.

Only problem is next door is a cafe shop or a bar, very very noisy during the whole night, several guys kept on talking loudly and laughly, I was woken up by that at 5.00 in th morning!!!!!!

The staff here is very friendly and helpful, and the location is extremely convenient being right in the center.

The quaintess of hostals is hard to beat. Best we had encountered in our travels that was not a hotel.

good location, helpful friendly staff, clean rooms with fridge and drinks at a reasonable price. closest metro is gran via. for 4 people a taxi is as cheap as the metro and takes about 15 mins which is quicker than the metro.
